What ended up as a very last minute decision turned out into an awesome day of learning and networking. I was chatting with Nick Beaulieu from The Other Angle and he told me about a workshop that Scott Robert Lim was doing in Vancouver. Only problem it was for the next day and there was only 1 spot left! so a few phone calls and emails later, I was signed up! Reilly and Miranda from Blue Olive hosted the event at their cool studio.
As I have journeyed into finding and developing our style at Jaylena Photography, I have taken a great liking towards off camera lighting as you can see in a lot of our photos. Scott Robert Lim is one of the greatest in this field with his experience and knowledge, and I have greatly admired Scott’s work. It was amazing to finally meet him in person and learn a thing or two about creating dramatic lighting.
