We threw around a bunch of ideas as to where we were going to go to do this photoshoot in the rain. There was no possibility of rescheduling, and we are glad we didn’t. Even though it was raining and the alleyways of Gastown smelled a little funny, we braved Mother Nature and it payed off. We lucked out greatly as the rain settled just for the the hour or so that we did end up shooting and the clouds made for the biggest soft box ever!

A big Thank You goes out to our amazing assistant Andrey Vladimirov who helped us through out the photoshoot with various tasks, one of the biggest being umbrella holding, we couldn’t have done it without you!!

Kristina was a good sport and she looked stunning in her very cute white dress and a sexy red skirt. She’s a rising start and we can’t wait to watch her sing live and perform some of her Russian Bar music!

Next up we have what we call our “Proof Image” which is our basic edit. Depending on the package selected, this is typically what clients will see in their online gallery and also what is received as a high resolution image on disc. Each proof image is adjusted for white balance and exposure.

Next up we have our premium “TLC” edit. This is where we go to town in Photoshop and also where we spend most of our time in applying various things such as artistic edits like vignettes, skin retouching, removal of any blemishes or laugh lines/wrinkles, and any textures (if the client wishes) to really make the image shine and stand out from the rest. Most of our packages will include a number of these “premium” edits. All prints or fine art products such as canvases or albums purchased from us receive a premium TLC edit before printing.

Hopefully this helps some of you understand a bit more about what goes on behind the scenes for the processing of our photos. As much as I do try and respond directly with each of you that ask me a question here and there, you can imagine these days as things have picked up a lot, that I just don’t have the time to address each individual question anymore.

Michelle Sheremeta also got out of bed early to help us out with Amber’s make-up. She did such a fantastic job with Amber’s make up. Check out her new website here!.

Amber had a pair of awesome cowgirl boots, and Jason sported a stylin’ pair of dark red dress shoes along with his fedora. They  were total supermodels and they weren’t afraid to get a little wet! I am not going to tell you who this beautiful bride is, simply because she asked me not to. I was, however, allowed to share some “butt” photos with the rest of the world. But if I were here, I’d flaunt my photos to everyone. I think she’s a beautiful young woman, and she rocked the photoshoot like a true rockstar!

We had a ton of fun running around the townhouse in itsy-bitsy lingerie capturing gorgeous photos for her husband-to-be. I think he’s really going to enjoy his Wedding Day present!! And I wish them both a lifetime of happiness!!

I encourage every girl out there to create a little something special for her man, whether it’s for a big occasion like the Wedding Day, Valentine’s Day, Christmas Day, Birthday, or simply cause you want to surprise him.
